This 21-year-old left-handed batter dominated Double-A Chattanooga, posting a stellar .298/.357/.481 slash line with 12 home runs. His performance earned him a promotion to Triple-A Louisville, where he continued to impress.
Over his final 52 games in Louisville, Rodriguez's numbers dipped slightly, but he still managed a respectable .260/.304/.405 line with 7 more home runs. As he's progressed through the ranks, Rodriguez has maintained solid contact rates despite an aggressive approach, emerging as a formidable pull-side power threat.
Rodriguez's hot streak has continued this offseason in the Dominican Winter League (LIDOM), where he's suiting up for the Leones del Escogido.
