Dubai's Art Scene Soars: DIFC Sculpture Park Unveils 50 Masterpieces, Raising AED 1mn for Youth Education
Dubai's artistic heart beats stronger with the launch of the fourth edition of the DIFC Sculpture Park, a breathtaking open-air gallery. This year's theme, 'Enduring Forms', showcases 50 awe-inspiring artworks crafted by 27 talented artists from 13 different nationalities. The park, open to the public from November 26, 2025, to April 2026, is more than just a display of creativity. It embodies the vision of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, to transform Dubai into a haven for public art and open-air galleries. And this edition delivers on that promise spectacularly.
His Excellency Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, proudly opened the park, emphasizing its role in fostering creativity and integrating art into Dubai's financial center. He also celebrated the success of the DIFC's Sculpting Futures initiative, which has raised an impressive AED 1mn dirhams for Dubai Cares' youth education programs, thanks to generous donors.
But here's where it gets controversial... The Sculpting Futures initiative, introduced in the previous edition, raises an important question: can art truly shape the future of youth education? The initiative supports the development of youth skills in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, as well as the arts. And this is the part most people miss—the names of contributors are immortalized in a unique sculpture by artists Sawsan Al Bahar and Bahar Al Bahar, displayed under the DIFC Gate Building until February 2026, when it will find its new home at DIFC Square.
The park features renowned artists like Anna Chekh, Jerzy Kedziora, and Anetta Szabo, among others. Mustafa Khamash's 'Wings of Unity' pays homage to Emirati heritage with an abstract falcon in the UAE flag's colors. This diverse collection of artworks not only enriches Dubai's cultural scene but also solidifies the DIFC's commitment to establishing Dubai as a global arts hub.
