Huawei unveiled several global releases at a Dubai event, introducing the Mate X7 for international markets alongside three other devices: the FreeClip 2 earbuds, the Watch Ultimate Design in Royal Gold Edition, and the MatePad 11.5 S 2025 tablet.
Huawei FreeClip 2
Having been announced in China earlier this year as the successor to the original FreeClip (2023), the FreeClip 2 maintains a similar design with a distinctive C-shaped fit that sits comfortably around the ears.
Key specs include 10.8 mm dual-diaphragm drivers, Huawei’s third-generation audio chip, and a dedicated NPU AI processor that enables adaptive volume and enhanced voice performance. The audio experience is billed as improved volume and bass, plus upgraded call noise cancellation thanks to three microphones.
The earbuds carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance and Huawei claims up to 38 hours of total battery life with the charging case. The case supports USB-C wired charging and wireless top-ups.
Color options are Blue, White, and Black, with a price tag of €200/£180. Availability starts January 21.
Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition
This is a refreshed take on the original Watch Ultimate2, featuring an upgraded material palette that includes an industry-first rare-earth purple ceramic bezel paired with 18-karat gold detailing. The housing combines a zirconium-based liquid metal case with a purple-gold titanium alloy strap.
Specifications carry over to include a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display, Huawei’s Kirin W80 chipset, and an 867 mAh battery rated for up to 11 days of use. The Royal Gold Edition retains the 150-meter water resistance (20 ATM) and underwater sonar-based communication of its predecessor. Health tracking remains robust with Huawei’s TruSense system and the X-Tap sensor, delivering quick and accurate data across 11 health metrics, including ECG.
HarmonyOS 5.1 powers the watch, and it supports eSIM and dual-band GPS. On-device calling and music playback are available as well.
The Royal Gold Edition Watch Ultimate is priced at €3,300/£3,000 and goes on sale January 15.
MatePad 11.5 S 2025
Originally announced in China in August, the MatePad 11.5 S 2025 centers on an 11.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2,800 × 1,840 and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It supports Huawei’s M-Pencil Pro for stylus input and includes a quad-speaker setup.
The chipset remains undisclosed. Configurations shown include 12 GB RAM with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Imaging-wise, there’s a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. The tablet houses an 8,800 mAh battery with 40W charging.
Available colors are Field Green, Feather Sand Purple, Frost Silver, and Deep Space Gray. The MatePad 11.5 S 2025 is priced at €480/£350 and will be available from January 15.
