Lucid (LCID) is addressing software issues with its Gravity SUV, following customer complaints. The company's communications director, Nick Twork, announced an imminent bug fix update for the Gravity, addressing software glitches reported by online reviewers and YouTubers. Despite some minor software issues, including problems with the driver's-side door handle, Lucid's over-the-air (OTA) updates will make it easy to resolve these problems. The fix will enhance navigation visuals, update compatible Tesla Superchargers, and improve general screen functionality. Lucid's interim CEO, Marc Winterhoff, acknowledged production challenges during the third quarter earnings call, but the company is optimistic about the Gravity's performance in Q4, with the majority of output and deliveries expected to come from this model. The Gravity's lower-priced Touring trim, starting at $79,900, is a significant step towards making the luxury electric SUV more accessible to a wider audience.
